I have to say that shooting boudoir portraits is one of my all time favorite things. It's not very often that I share these because of how deeply intimate they can be. Boudoir sessions are so powerful. Someone may walk in feeling vulnerable and perhaps overly conscious about so many little things -- yet in those moments, they find a way to block all of that and magic happens. Time and time again. Without fail. There's just something about being in that situation that really changes people. We all have insecurities and to bare those in front of a camera takes a lot of guts. I commend all the ladies I've had the honor of photographing. Thank you for allowing me in your space and being so open minded. I hope the courage and love you have for yourself never goes away. Here are a few of my favorite shots from Jen's session. I shot half of it on Ilford 3200, which I love. That grain is so beautiful. Because I rarely share my black and white film (especially something a little more racy; Haha!), here's to sharing something new. The first two were shot on Fuji 800Z and the rest on Ilford 3200.
