After their ceremony, I pulled Michelle, Erik and their daughter aside for some portraits by the ocean as the sun was setting. The warm light wrapped all around them and although they were pretty quiet as I snapped away, the look in their eyes said it all. There was so much love on that beach. As I looked through all the photos, these made my heart melt. Sure, there were gorgeous, romantic ones of just Michelle and Erik, but these... these are what that beautiful day was all about. Family. Weddings aren't always about just two people promising each other eternal love. Weddings are so much more than that and I should know. Although Mike and I are legally married, we're having our wedding this fall. Oliver, our son, will be our ring bearer. When I walk down that aisle and I take hold of my husband's hands, it's not just him that I'm promising forever to. It's to our family. The two people I love more than anything in this world. They give my life incredible meaning and endless inspiration.
